If you are returning from military service, IU Southeast wants to
help you plan for your future.
A prestigious degree from Indiana University is within your reach.
We provide extra assistance to veterans so that you can take full advantage of any benefits to which you are entitled. We offer 50+ degree programs at all degree levels in the hottest career fields.

In addition, IU Southeast was one of a handful of local schools to be designated "military friendly" by G.I. Jobs, a monthly publication geared
to veterans transitioning back to civilian life.  The Student Veterans Organization (SVO) is one of 100 student clubs and organizations on campus where you can hold leadership positions that will build your confidence and your resumé.

At IU Southeast, you get all the benefits of being an IU student.
As students at one of eight Indiana University campuses, IU Southeast graduates earn an IU degree and have access to world-class career resources, international study opportunities, and millions of dollars in financial aid and scholarships.

Our focus is different at
IU Southeast.  Our focus is on you.  We help you do more than complete a degree.  We challenge you to meet your highest potential in an atmosphere of academic excellence. Here, you define yourself.

There’s no reason to wait!
Start defining yourself now by applying to IU Southeast.

IvyTech Logo
Ivy Tech is Indiana's most affordable college – about half the average annual cost of other schools for tuition and books. You can earn your college degree for less than $6,000. We offer higher education at the lowest cost, giving you the perfect value for your investment.

There are more than 150 programs and concentrations statewide, all of which result in an associate degree or certificate that can lead to a
good-paying job. Or you can take advantage of the cost-savings you will experience at Ivy Tech and transfer your degree/ credits to other colleges and universities around the state to pursue a bachelor's degree.

There are several different categories, or chapters, of veterans educational benefits. Please remember that eligibility for each of these benefits is determined by the Department of Veterans Affairs, not Ivy Tech Community College Southern Indiana. A free booklet on any of the benefits can be obtained from the Ivy Tech Community College Southern Indiana Financial Aid Office.

Applying to Ivy Tech is easy. Unlike other colleges and universities, we don't charge an application fee.

The Veterans Resource Center is an initiative as part of a grant awarded for IU Southeast and Ivy Tech Sellersburg campuses by the Military Family Research Institute at Purdue University for Operation Diploma for 2010-11 academic year.
The grant is intended to support the efforts of our institution in serving student service members and veterans and
their families.
